ABCDS Oversight Highlighted at a High-Visibility Meeting at the National Institutes of Health

In early March, Duke-Margolis Center for Health Policy’s Christina Silcox highlighted Algorithm Based Clinical Decision Support (ABCDS) Oversight in an important, high-visibility meeting convened by the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ) and the National Institute on Minority Health and Health Disparities (NIMHD) at the National Institutes of Health (NIH). This conference was held as part of a consensus process to inform the development of recommendations to address the impact that healthcare algorithms have on racial and ethnic disparities in health and healthcare.
