Nicoleta J. Economou-Zavlanos, PhD, serves as the director of Duke Health AI Evaluation & Governance (E&G) and the founding director of the Algorithm-Based Clinical Decision Support (ABCDS) Oversight. Dr. Economou provides strategic direction to the program, ensuring it aligns with Duke Health’s mission and commitment to trustworthy and responsible AI. Duke Health AI E&G operates under the Duke University Health System and the Duke University School of Medicine. The Duke Clinical and Translational Science Institute (CTSI) provides operational support for the program under the direction of Susanna Naggie, MD, MHS, Vice Dean for Clinical Research at the Duke University School of Medicine.
