Congratulations to Duke Health AI Evaluation & Governance Program's Nicoleta Economou, PhD, and colleagues from the Mayo Clinic for their award-winning poster presentation at AMIA 2024! Their poster, which earned recognition for inclusive language, showcased the team’s work on a tailored Quality Management System (QMS) framework for health AI development, also highlighted in their collaborative paper in NPJ Digital Medicine. The symposium provided an excellent opportunity to engage with peers and discuss how a QMS framework can help bridge the AI translation gap, ensuring healthcare AI innovations are safe, ethical, and effective for improving patient care.
