Duke Health AI E&G Welcomes Dr. Michel van Genderen

Duke Health AI Evaluation & Governance Program recently hosted a compelling seminar with Dr. Michel van Genderen who is an associate professor at Erasmus Medical Center (Erasmus MC) and a thought leader in the operationalization of responsible AI, shared insights from his work in trustworthy AI development across Europe. Dr. van Genderen is part of the Responsible and Ethical AI for Healthcare Lab (REAiHL), the clinal branch of the WHO endorsed TU Delft digital ethics centre, that advises the WHO on responsible AI. Dr. van Genderen also serves as the president of the Trustworthy and Responsible AI Network (TRAIN) Europe that focuses on the operationalization of AI throughout Europe.
