Duke Health is hosting an open forum on ensuring safe, reliable, and secure AI in healthcare. Titled "Making Trustworthy Health AI a Reality," this event will feature expert panelists from Duke, UNC Health, and Microsoft, including Duke Health’s Michael Pencina, PhD, and Nicoleta Economou, PhD, from Duke Health’s AI Evaluation & Governance Program. Distinguished guests from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, including Deputy Secretary Andrea Palm and National Coordinator for Health Information Technology Micky Tripathi, PhD, will also participate. The forum is free and open to the public, though seating is limited.
