Elijah Richardson, MPH
Elijah Richardson, MPH, serves as the Evaluation & Governance Lead for ABCDS Oversight within the Duke Health AI E&G Program. In this role, he serves as the primary liaison to teams of researchers, clinicians, and data scientists participating in the ABCDS Oversight process. He also manages the registration and evaluation of AI-based algorithms and facilitates communications across the Duke Health system.
Before joining Duke, Elijah worked as a Research Assistant and Data Analyst at Morehouse School of Medicine, focusing on child and family health research. His professional experience spans exercise physiology, HIV prevention, and correctional health, reflecting a broad commitment to advancing public health outcomes. Elijah holds a Master of Public Health from Morehouse School of Medicine and a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Physiology from Winston-Salem State University. His career interests include leveraging ethical, data-driven, and evidence-based approaches, particularly in AI and data science, to advance fairness in health, ensure high-quality outcomes, and eliminate health disparities at the intersection of AI and public health.
