Rabail Baig, MA, is the Director of Communications for Duke Health’s AI Evaluation & Governance (E&G) Program. In this role, she leads strategic communication initiatives, ensuring alignment across diverse platforms to advance the program’s mission of fostering responsible AI in healthcare.

Since the program’s inception, Ms. Baig has leveraged data-driven insights and technologies to design impactful communication strategies, enhancing the program’s visibility and cultivating partnerships with stakeholders in academia, healthcare, and policy. She has been instrumental in developing and launching the communication frameworks for the Trustworthy & Responsible AI Network (TRAIN) and the Coalition for Health AI (CHAI), guiding these initiatives from their earliest stages.

Before assuming her current role, Ms. Baig worked as a communications consultant and science writer at the Duke Clinical Research Institute (DCRI). She holds a Master’s degree in international relations and political science, with over 15 years of experience in writing, editing, and digital design. Her background in investigative journalism has earned her bylines in publications such as Foreign Policy Magazine and The Guardian.
